The main shock in the actor’s life occurred in the fall of 2021. A dark spot appeared on Nikolai’s hand. He didn’t attach any importance to it, especially since it didn’t bother him in any way. However, the spot began to grow, followed by another on the body.

Zazuli’s acquaintances urged him to undergo an examination. In the hospital, a biopsy was taken from the artist, after all the necessary tests, the doctor gave him a verdict: sarcoma. So Nicholas began his fight for his life. “Over the years, I have undergone two chemotherapy treatments, my face has turned black, I have problems with my skin and work,” complained Zazulya.

The actor cannot boast of leading roles and solid fees. However, he pursued a career in film, appearing in supporting roles in many films and television series. In his luggage there are more than 50 guns, including “Interns”, “Voronins”, “Trace”, “Polar”, “Univer”. New Hostel”, “Kill Stalin”. Basically, Zazulya played a brutal man – a security guard, a criminal, an investigator, a scout … Such roles did not bring much income, but there was enough money to live on. After the diagnosis, Nikolai’s affairs worsened, they stopped calling him to meetings, and the artist had no savings.

The insurance only covered a small part of the treatment costs, you had to pay the rest. Old unresolved financial problems also hit – a few years ago the actor took out a loan to bury his father. He didn’t have time to pay off the debt before the illness, and he couldn’t after it. As a result, he now owes a debt collection company half a million rubles.

According to Zazuli, he only has enough money to live hand to mouth. As a result, the artist owed about one hundred thousand rubles for utility bills. His electricity was disconnected for non-payment. The man was even forced to forget about pride and ask for help from fans, but he managed to collect only 35 thousand rubles.

Nikolai has no wife and children, only a younger brother is among his close relatives, but they did not maintain relations for a long time. The actor became the hero of the “Beyond” program on NTV. The producers agreed that he would be taken by the best oncologists who did a full examination. The man was prescribed chemotherapy, while doctors assured Zazuly that his chances of recovery were high.
