The mother of many children learned about Harvey Weinstein’s sentence while driving with her 16-year-old daughter and 23-year-old son. She clarified with the children whether they understood English correctly and began to cry.

Evgenia confessed that she was the victim of Harvey’s rape. In 2017, she filed a lawsuit and became one of the first women who dared to speak about the atrocities of the Hollywood producer. The Russian woman appeared in the documents under the pseudonym Jane Doe 1 for security reasons.

She met the producer at the Oscars in 2013. At the time, she was married to an Italian, with whom she had three children. Evgenia built a career as a model and dreamed of the world of cinema. She saw her acquaintance with Weinstein as a unique chance. “I was happy, full of energy and plans!” – explained the model.

Evgenia stated that Harvey suddenly burst into her room. He assured her that he would not have sex with her, but he just wanted to talk. The model got scared, started telling him about her husband and children, but that didn’t stop the producer.

“He unzipped his pants and that’s when I threw a tantrum. I kept showing pictures of kids, “I have kids, please don’t do this!” But he did what he did. He attacked me in the bedroom, then dragged me into the bathroom and raped me there, “said Evgenia in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

After that, the model blamed herself for everything, fell into depression and then divorced her husband. Evgenia believes that then her mother’s upbringing greatly influenced her. “I love my mom, but her generation brought us up like this: if something bad happens to you, it’s your fault. It’s your responsibility,” explained the model.
