Six years ago, the Honored Artist of Russia had a stroke while on vacation in Montenegro. Malezhik suddenly fell ill. “We went to the hospital, they did a CT scan, but at the time there was no doctor there to decipher it. I spent the night in the hospital, I went to the toilet at night, jumped out of bed out of habit and my legs gave out. I collapsed next to the bed. I realized that my leg doesn’t work, my arm doesn’t work and I can’t swallow,” said Vyacheslav Efimovič.
Three days later, the artist returned to Moscow, where he was immediately hospitalized. “I was fed through a tube for three months. The arm has recovered 85 percent, the right leg 45 percent. I go through rehabilitation twice a year,” explained the 76-year-old performer of the hit Zima-zima.
The musician’s wife realized that she would not be able to fully recover. Then Tatiana began to have depression. “I was practically anorexic. I was ashamed to undress in front of myself. I don’t speak in front of anyone. I didn’t go to the pool. I lost more than 20 kilograms, “the artist’s wife admitted.
She felt so bad that Tatiana wanted to end it. “There were thoughts about how easy it is to leave this life so as not to hurt and hurt relatives. I realized that I can’t do it alone,” said Malezhik.
The woman changed psychotherapists, went to hospitals for examination, but nothing helped. “I fainted: I could stand up and immediately fall to the ground. I was in a couple of hospitals for examination, I thought that something was wrong with me, some problems. All tests were taken from me. Rest. Go out. And then she ended up in the hospital because taking these pills caused her to fall on the bathroom tile floor and crack her head. They took me to neurosurgery to sew me up,” Taťána shared in the Secrets for a Million show on NTV. Thanks to this, she was able to overcome depression that lasted for almost two years.
