Tatyana Navka decided to support a close friend. The figure skater recalled their couple’s triumph at the 2006 Turin Olympics. The wife of the press secretary of the President of Russia published an archival video of the performance with the obligatory dance.

“Really? 17 years. Amazing! It doesn’t feel like years have passed. Yes, there have been changes in life, sports, the country and the world, but when I see this dance, it feels like it was yesterday. I remember all the movements, the plasticity and that unshakable approach to victory with Roma! The main thing is to hold on, give in, skate without mistakes, with soul and conquer everyone with dance. As it would be fashionable to call it now: “affirmation of the day”, Tatána shared her emotions.

The compulsory dance brought the Russian skaters only second place. “The Italians got the first, the Roma, and I had no doubt that we would be the first in the end!” — assured the star.

Finally it worked. After the first day of the Olympic tournament, Barbare Fusar-Poli and Maurizio Margallo were in first place. The original dance brought Navka and Kostomarov to first place, and the free dance made them Olympic winners, it happened on February 20.

Yevgeny Plushenko assured that he is worried about Roman’s health, but does not want to create unnecessary noise around his name. “I don’t want to speculate on this topic. Roma is really a close friend of mine. God grant that he recovers and leaves this clinic!” – said the athlete in an interview with RIA Novosti.
