Kate and Leonardo are one of the most popular duets in Hollywood. The actors became famous thanks to their roles in the drama “Titanic” in 1997. The tape became a cult, and Winslet and DiCaprio received universal recognition. Another picture where the friends appeared together was “Revolutionary Road” directed by Sam Mendes. This time the actors appeared as a couple living in the 1950s.

The drama also includes scenes from close quarters of the characters. Leonardo said he trusted his partner. Over many years of work, they look at personal boundaries differently.

“We were actively looking for what we could do together. It was really natural. She is my relative. We can push each other’s boundaries. We use the fact that we have been such good friends for so many years to our advantage. There’s definitely a comfort level between us and we challenge each other as actors,” DiCaprio explained.

Screen Jack Dawson was never married. Kate has significant family life experience. The actress was married three times. At the time Revolutionary Road was filmed, her husband was the film’s director himself. Kate agreed with the Wolf of Wall Street star, but admitted that the sex scenes were awkward because Mendez was there.

“It was kind of like, ‘Okay, my husband’s there.’ It was a little weird,” Winslet (47) said. Leonardo added that she proved to be the consummate professional playing April, a role that won her a Golden Globe in 2009.

Kate fell in love with Sam after her first marriage to Jim Trippleton, with whom she has a 21-year-old daughter, Mia. Winslet and Mendes split in 2010 after seven years of marriage. They have a 19-year-old son, Joe. The former spouses maintain warm relations.

“One thing I will say about myself and Sam is that everything is fine, everything is fine. We are adults after all, and as hard as it was for me, it was no less hard for him. We have a child together, whom we both love, and raising him together, together and without any conflict, is absolutely necessary,” Kate is quoted by the Daily Mail. After the divorce, she found her happiness with Sir Richard Branson’s nephew, Ned Rocknroll.
