“I’m trying to teach Charlotte everything”: Kate Middleton made a rare confession about her daughter

The flamboyant royal couple made their first visit to Cornwall together since taking up their new titles. The couple visited the port town of Falmouth. Kate Middleton looked chic in a burgundy dress and chocolate coat from a budget brand.

A pleasant surprise awaited the Princess of Wales – she met Jim Embery, who once taught history at St. Andrews Preparatory School in Berkshire, where the future king studied. Kate recognized her teacher and gave him a warm hug with a touched smile. “My God! My God! I really recognized you! It’s like I’m back in my childhood!” exclaimed the heir to the throne’s wife.

The man said he moved to Cornwall after retiring and now works as a volunteer at the National Maritime Museum. Kate assured that she remembered in detail what Mr. Embery’s classroom was like.

Kate Middleton exchanged warm words with a teacher and made a rare confession about her 7-year-old daughter Charlotte. “Wow! You currently live here? And you’re here as a volunteer? Wow, it’s such a small world. I’m trying to teach my daughter everything you taught me,” said the Princess of Wales.

Mr Embery said he taught Kate history in the mid-1990s. “I must say she was a great student. It was a great class and she was a great student and a great kid. It was 25 years ago,” said the teacher after the meeting.

The Middleton family returned to the UK from Jordan in 1986. The Princess of Wales attended St Andrews School in Berkshire and later attended nearby Down House boarding school. She then entered the prestigious Marlborough College and then went on to study art history at the University of St. Andrews, where she met Prince William.

The couple visited the museum workshop, which is currently undergoing repairs to a sailing ship that once belonged to the late Queen Elizabeth II. and has historical and sentimental value to the royal family. Kate and William also spoke to youngsters at a local centre, the Daily Mail reports.

The couple’s visit to Cornwall was overshadowed by an unfortunate incident – on the way she met a man who staged a single demonstration. He held a sign in his hands and shouted the slogan: “No more royals. This is the 21st century, and we don’t need the monarchy anymore.” However, the anti-royalist did not do well with the protest for a long time – he was detained by the police.
