Ten million for a soul: the strangest things sold by the stars

Jennifer Aniston – erotic photo

Do not treat yourself! In our articles, we gather the latest scientific data and opinions from authoritative health experts. But remember: only a doctor can diagnose and prescribe treatment.

Earlier this summer, Jennifer Aniston auctioned off her candid photo at Christie’s auction house. All proceeds from the sale will be used to fight the coronavirus.

The image was taken in 1995 by Mark Seliger for the cover of an American magazine. “When I first met Jennifer Aniston, I knew immediately that she was going to be a big star,” recalls the photographer.

The frame turned out to be very provocative, although the pose of the actress is quite closed. In addition to the photo of the Friends star, Mark also put up for sale 24 other famous portraits: Billy Eilish, Courtney Love, Tom Hanks, Kurt Cobain, Brad Pitt and others. The current price for a black and white portrait of Jen is $6,500. So far, this is one of the most expensive items. The auction will last until June 12.

Grimes is a piece of soul

Elon Musk’s girlfriend recently auctioned off part of her soul. Grimes is known to many not only as a singer, but also as an artist. At the beginning of June, she opened two online exhibitions at the same time at the contemporary art galleries Gallery Platform LA and Maccarone in Los Angeles. At them, Claire Boucher (real name of the celebrity. – Approx. ed.) presented her own drawings, prints, photographs and conceptual works created over the past decade.

Among all this, there is much that resembles an official document, according to which a part of Grimes’ soul can be transferred to a new owner. The theme is very special and costs decently – 10,000,000. Either the crisis has such an effect, or Grimes is really a girl who literally knows her own price. Now I wonder who will buy such a product.

William Shatner – kidney stone

Actor William Shatner, known to many for his role in the series Star Trek, helped $25,000 for a stone from his own kidney. During the filming of the movie “Boston Lawyers”, the actor fell ill, the same stone turned out to be the culprit.

In 2006, the goods were sold on the Internet and the money was transferred to a charitable foundation that builds housing for the needy.

The founder of the GoldenPalace.com casino became the owner of the “precious” stone. He presented a valuable exhibit at private exhibitions. The pebble was put up for auction several times until it disappeared at some point.

Gwyneth Paltrow – vaginal scented candles

Many people know that Gwyneth Paltrow is the owner of her own brand Goop. A few years ago, under this brand, it developed the so-called “jade eggs”, which are said to help with more spicy sexual pleasure.

And recently, the star went even further and started selling scented candles with the scent of her own secretions. The erotic product is accompanied by the caption “This smells like my vagina.” Despite the $75 price tag, the product quickly found its buyer. The first batch of candles was dismantled within a few hours, the second is already on its way.

Alex Ferguson – chewing gum

The legendary coach of the football club “Manchester United” Alex Ferguson became famous not only for his successful career. He has a habit of chewing gum during matches. So it calms the nerves. On May 19, 2013, the man did not change the tradition: then his team won, and the chewing gum brought a large amount of money.

The coach spit out the stretch candy and the fan picked it up. The land was sold at auction for £390,000. The buyer of unsightly goods does not disclose his name. It is only known that all proceeds were donated to the Manchester Charitable Foundation to support young athletes.

Justin Timberlake – Half Eaten Toast

In the early 2000s, the idol of millions, Justin Timberlake, visited the Z-100 radio morning show. The format of the event included breakfast with a celebrity. Apparently, Timberlake wasn’t very hungry and didn’t finish the toast, which was later auctioned off.

A piece of bread touched by the lips of a popular musician went under the hammer for $3,154. The seller donated the proceeds to charity.

Belle Dolphin – bath water

British model and cosplay fan Belle Delphine came up with an unusual way to make money last year. The pretty girl easily sold all the water from the bathroom she was bathing in to her subscribers. Each bottle is 0.5 l. went to new owner for $30.

Why anyone would want such a souvenir is unclear. But just in case, Belle warned buyers not to drink this water.

After earning a hefty sum in two days, Dolphin asked her fans what else they would like to buy from her. The list included clothes, accessories, and soul (but then Grimes outdid her).

Justin Bieber – Hair

In 2011, after visiting a beauty salon, Justin Bieber decided to keep a lock of his hair and later sold it. He chose The Ellen Show as the venue for the auction, where the TV host put the much-wanted items from many fans into an online auction.

For $40,000, the goods were taken away by a secret admirer who also received the singer’s autograph. Bieber donated easy money to The Gentle Barn, a charity that helps homeless animals.

Kanye West – air

Strange things related to public figures have been repeatedly sold on eBay. One day they were offering Britney Spears chewing gum, the next French toast that Justin Timberlake bit into, they were even selling the air that Kanye West breathed.

A fan of Kardashian’s husband’s work has auctioned off a bag of air that the rapper allegedly inhaled at a concert. Despite the unreliability of the information, the battle for the lottery began. The initial price of the package was just $5, but eventually some rich man bought it for $60,100.
