The “Euphoria” actress was at the center of a scandal after visiting a store in her hometown of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The 25-year-old actress, who has experience in the adult film industry, has been charged in connection with the incident at the Building Character department store.

A sales clerk at Jenny & the Clowder saw Cherry, whose real name is Elise Jones, take the Moda International blouse into the dressing room on CCTV footage, after which the item disappeared. Its price was 28 dollars (1916 rubles). According to the employee, Cherry paid for individual items of clothing with a credit card.

Camera footage was provided to law enforcement. According to court documents, Khloe said she returned the blouse to the store. Character Building owner Marty Hulse said most thieves are caught because of the evidence left behind.

“When we find people shoplifting, we usually don’t catch them in the act. They take the tag off the thing and throw it somewhere. Then we see the mark, we can find them on the camera, understand where it comes from. That’s exactly what happened. I know it sounds petty, but when it comes down to it, we’re all small businesses — you’re robbing your neighbors,” Hals said.

The complex’s general manager, Joel Henry, said the surveillance system, which has been upgraded in recent years, catches about one or two thieves each month. Hulse and Henry maintained that they did not know Cherry was an actress on the HBO show until her mother told the police. In addition, it was revealed that the artist had already been convicted of shoplifting since April 2015.

Cherry’s representative explained that there was a mix-up regarding a blouse that was not properly charged to his client’s credit card. “There was no way she admitted to taking the blouse because she didn’t. This story appears to be more about a local store selling a celebrity’s name than anything else,” the artist’s defense attorney said.
