“I’m shy on first dates”: Anna Glaube revealed behind the scenes of the filming of the film “Free Relations” 02/03/2023, 11:05

One of the main film premieres of the last winter month in Russia will be the film “Free Relationships”. It will be released on the eve of Valentine’s Day, February 9.

The characters in this tape were looking for true love but were forced to get married due to accidental night sex and unplanned pregnancy. After seven years of unhappy marriage, they realize that they can’t live like this anymore. However, divorce is out of the question, because the couple love their son very much and want the boy to grow up in a full-fledged family. They decide on a “free union”. This idea leads to unexpected consequences.

One of the brightest roles in this story was played by Anna Glaube. The actress is well known to viewers from the series “Pregnancy test-2”, “Molodezhka”, “Hotel Eleon”, “Ex”, “Alibi”. In an exclusive interview with VOICE, she noted that filming “Free Relationships” took place in the summer of 2021 in St. Petersburg. At the same time, the artist starred in the series “Divorce” in Moscow. At that time, she had a 4-month-old son Danya in her arms and often had to travel with him from the capital of Russia to the city on the Neva. Anna talked about her character in this romantic comedy.

“Unlike most of my previous roles, my heroine Olya is a gray mouse,” said Glaube. – Olya is shy, modest, dresses discreetly, tries not to stand out from her dignity. Her relationship is “complicated”, she is raising her son alone. But inside Olga burns passion and thirst for love, she dreams of meeting her man and creating a strong real family with him.

The 32-year-old artist spoke about how this character is similar to her and how radically different she is. “I’m more straightforward and I don’t like half measures in a relationship: either together or not – “everything is complicated” it’s not about me” Anna assured. “But of course we are similar in many ways: I am also shy on first dates, somewhat naive like Olya, and we both love it when men read poetry.”

Director Dmitry Nevzorov said that his goal was to make a gentle, kind and funny film about feelings, after watching which there is a pleasant “aftertaste”. Glaube expressed her opinion on why the tape will appeal to viewers.

“There are many different kinds of problems and difficulties in our life and often you want to escape from everything,” assured the actress. – So our film will be a very healing pill for adversity, you will want to watch it again and again. In addition, we have a very friendly ensemble cast, an amazing film crew. We made this film with a lot of love and I’m sure it will be felt across the screen.”

Anna’s partners were the actors beloved by many viewers Aglaya Tarasova, Boris Dergachev, Nikolai Fomenko, Anna Ardova, Jan Tsapnik, Ilya Sobolev and others. Glaube is often invited to act in comedies. She explained why that is.

“Comedy is a certain genre and rules of existence within, and I seem to feel them very well,” said the native of Moscow. “Furthermore, in life, I most often give the impression of a slightly positive person. Therefore, casting directors often see me in this particular role … For a long time I wanted to realize myself in a dramatic role, and recently the filming of the series “Without Hands” began with me in the main role. This is a story about domestic violence, I play the role of Margarita Gracheva. This is my first biographical social drama and I hope viewers will be able to watch our series on the KION platform in the near future.”

Previously, Anna believed that she had a small height complex (she is 1 m 60 cm). According to the actress, her neck hurt from having to “raise your head.” The movie star told how she got rid of this complex.

“I love and accept myself as I am” assured Glaube. – A short figure has its advantages – every partner in the cinema next to me will look handsome and bold, you can safely wear high heels without worrying that you will be taller than a man.
