Jane Fonda once taught us the basics of aerobics, and today she is an example of perseverance and optimism. The actress successfully fights cancer (now in remission), continues to appear for magazines and makes it clear that you can live a full life after eighty.
In one interview, Fonda stated that she wanted to help young people stop being afraid of old age.
“I’m 85, but I don’t look that old. I want to help people realize that just because you’ve reached a certain age doesn’t mean you have to give up a fulfilling life, stop having fun, stop making new partners or make new friends or whatever,” Fonda said.
The actress also warned women against getting too carried away with beauty procedures, admitting that she stopped getting facelifts herself because she didn’t want her face to look “distorted”. Fonda believes that it is much more important to take care of your health.

“As you get older, you realize the importance of staying healthy. I don’t spend a lot of money on face creams or anything like that, but I always moisturize my skin, get enough sleep, exercise and avoid the sun. I have good friends that I hang out with. Laughter is good, too,” Fonda said.
