The Ministry of Justice recognized the leader of the punk band Little Big Ilya Prusikin as a foreign agent. The ministry explained its decision. It is reported that the artist “received support from foreign sources, performed concert activities in enemy countries with calls to stop the special military operation in Ukraine, and spread false information about the activities of state authorities.”
Ilya and his wife Sophia Tayurskaya left Russia in June of last year: they emigrated to America. Prusikin did not hide the fact that it was difficult for him: his fees fell by half, and the number of concerts became minimal.
The artist reacted to his new status. He tried to be funny about it. “Thank you all for the congratulations! I am grateful to everyone who bothered me, supported me, voted for me and gave 100 points (or how do foreign agents give?). I am now officially a foreign agent. I, like Agent 007, have a very dangerous agency misguided – conscience, a position against the government of the Russian Federation and the most dangerous misguided – a position against and freedom of speech,” wrote Prusikin on his personal blog.
The musician also recalled a “historic” photo that was taken in Israel. In the picture were Ilya with his wife Sofya Tayurskaya, Alla Pugacheva, Semjon Slepakov, Maxim Vitorgan, Mikhail Shats* and rapper Ivan Alekseev*, better known as Noize MC. “Who’s next on this list of great people (foreign agents)?” Ilya pointed out. He added that he considers Semyon Slepakov to be the next one.
Sofya Tayurskaya supported her husband. She also posted a photo with star emigrants. “Guess how many checkboxes you can put on this photo?” — the singer shared.
Sophia squared off with Alla Pugacheva. She published the text of the singer’s appeal to the Ministry of Justice, in which she asks to be included in the register of foreign agents after her husband Maxim Galkin*. Thanks for this text! Now it is closer to me than ever, ”said Tayurskaya.
* Listed by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation in the register of natural persons-foreign agents.
