The best male role went to Ivan Yankovsky. The artist played the chess player Anatoly Karpov in the movie “Master of the World”. Alexei Sidorov’s tape tells the story of the most dramatic duel in chess history. The reigning champion Karpov and grandmaster Viktor Korchnoi, who emigrated from the USSR a few years before the match, fought for the title of world champion.

Yankovsky admitted that he had a hard time working on the project. “I’m not going to cover up and lie that it was probably one of the hardest roles I’ve played. Alexey won the title of best director for this film. Yevgeny Mironov received a Best Supporting Actor nomination for his work in Heart of Parma. The best actor in the online series was Nikita Efremov, who starred in Patient Zero. Anna Mikhalkova (Alice Can’t Wait) was declared the best actress in an online series.

Yulia Khlynina (Elizaveta) won the award in the nomination for the best TV role. And the best male role on TV was played by Evgeny Stychkin (“Alibi”).

The award for the best short film went to the director Taťána Žuková, who shot the film “A”, in the genre of non-fiction films, the film “Phases of the Moon” by Andrej Osipov won. “Date” directed by Denis Chernov was called “the best animated film”.
