Actress Yanina Lisovskaya remained essentially a one-role actress in Soviet cinema. Why did this happen, you ask? It’s just that the actress emigrated a long time ago, and you need to look for her not on Russian, but on German screens. But first.

Yanina Lisovskaya is a native Muscovite, born into an artistic family, graduated from the prestigious Moscow Art Theater School, where she studied on a course with Alexander Feklistov and Vera Sotnikova. All the conditions to become a famous movie actress. Especially when the launch went so well. The film “Love and Pigeons” was one of the first in the filmography of 21-year-old Lisovská and immediately made her a film star of the entire Union. Young actresses were immediately noticed by other directors, and new roles did not take long for them. Lisovskaya also got the main roles (for example, in the film “Beyond the Vetluga River”), but they could not overshadow the success of the actress in the image of Lyudka.

In the early 1990s, the actress met the German actor Wolf List, who soon became her second husband. Life in two countries did not go well for the actress and she decided to move to Germany with her beloved.

Lisovskaya doubted for a long time, but her teacher and head of the Moscow Art Theater Oleg Efremov blessed her departure and promised that if the actress’s life in Germany did not work out, he would accept her back into the troupe.

Starting from scratch in a new place, like many emigrants, was not so easy for Lisovskaya at first. After moving, she was even forced to work as a nanny in a kindergarten for the first time and forgot about her acting ambitions. By her own admission, she was ready to say goodbye to this profession and devote herself, for example, to ceramics. But soon everything started to turn out well for the actress. She started participating in amateur performances, then tried directing and even wrote a play herself, which was then published in Hamburg.

After that, film roles returned. Lisovskaya even got into the most popular German detective series Crime scene, which has been on the screens for several decades. In addition, the actress starred in the German films Living by the Rhine, Landing on the Moon, Rendezvous, Swallow’s Nest. Lisovskaya shares her experience with the younger generation and teaches acting.

Lisovskaya and her German husband have a daughter, Vasilisa. The actress gave birth to a baby girl when she was 36 years old and it was her first child. Vasilisa grew up in Germany but is bilingual. Lisovskaya also introduced her to Russian culture, reading Tolstoy with her.

Lisovskaya settled in Germany for a long time, but admits that she misses Moscow very much. The actress sometimes comes to Russia to meet old friends and walk her favorite streets in the Arbat region, where she was born and raised. Lisovskaya is also close friends with the daughter of the director of her most successful film, Julia Menshova, and is the godmother of her daughter Taisiya. Yanina and Yulia became friends on the set of Love and the Dove.
