In 1984, Natalya Andreichenko agreed to play the first wife of Emperor Peter Evdoki in the international project “Peter the Great” and met Maximilian Schell on the set in Suzdal. The language barrier didn’t get in the way, they started to practically communicate with each other in signs and finally decided that they wanted to be together. We returned to Moscow, and here Natalya spoke with her husband Maxim Dunaevsky. She recalls that at the time it seemed to her that she loved both of them equally, and the decision to divorce was not easy. But still, the actress broke up with Dunayevsky and married Schell.
They lived separately for a while, but in 1991 they decided it was time to call it quits and moved to the United States together. There, Natalya was actively engaged in English, went to auditions, even starred in several projects, but in reality her career did not work out. She often said in interviews that there was no one in the States. Nevertheless, Natalia continued to act in films – both in Russia and in the USA. They lived with Shell for more than 20 years, in this marriage a daughter was born.
Nastasya was born in 1989 in Munich. Maximilian was 59 years old when he became a father for the first time. And he just loved his daughter. The actor was also warm to Natalia’s son from his marriage with Dunaevsky, but Nastasya became a light in the window for him. The girl grew up behind the scenes of the theater where her father served, watched all the performances with pleasure and explored the theater from the inside with curiosity. Shell involved his daughter in his productions from an early age, she starred in several of his films, so there was no question of choosing a career. Nastasya studied at a drama school in Los Angeles and was going to make a career in film or theater.
In 2005, Nastasia’s parents separated, the 16-year-old girl stayed with her father in the USA. And that same year she found out she was pregnant. Nastasya was only 17 years old when her daughter Leo Magdalene was born. Naturally, she had to forget about her career for a while, and then she could not return to the profession.
Today, Nastasya leads a quiet, measured life out of the public eye. She settled in Austria, in the mansion left to her by her father. Some sources state that she married an Austrian whom she met at one of the theater festivals. It was he who became the father of her daughter. According to other sources, Nastasya Shell has never married and is raising her daughter alone.
