Samantha Fox reveals how Jennifer Lopez influenced her in 1991

The 56-year-old singer talked about her first meeting with Jennifer Lopez. It happened 32 years ago, when no one knew the future performer of the hit “Live it up”. At the time, she aspired to make a career as a dancer.

Samantha noted that she had released her music album in 1991 and was looking for dancers to take part in the video for “But The Pants Stay On”. She planned to hire successful dancers for the long duration of her concert tour.

At one of the auditions, the model saw Lopez for the first time, who at that time had not yet released any music or acted in any films. 22-year-old Jennifer, along with other dancers, wanted to star in a video and go on a concert tour as a backup dancer for a famous artist. For this, she took part in a general competition.

Fox personally selected the artists who rehearsed her dance routines, the young native of the Bronx, New York, took an instant liking to her. “After the release of my first solo album, I auditioned girls for a video shoot. And I was looking for dancers to work on a concert tour. She came over and I said, “Oh, she’s cute.” And I chose her,” Samantha shared the story of her first meeting with Jennifer.

Last summer, the “Wedding Planner” star married the love of her life, Ben Affleck. The celebration took place 20 years after the breakup of their first engagement. The star admitted that all the years since their separation, she was tormented by the question of whether there is true love. She called last year the happiest in her life.

In December, the star couple celebrated the first Christmas together in their lives, their children attended. Ben has three children from his marriage to Jennifer Garner – 17-year-old Violet, 14-year-old Seraphina and 10-year-old Samuel. J.
