One of the brightest and most respected representatives of the art of hairdressing in the USSR and Russia died after a long illness. The sad news was announced by Oksana Pushkina, who had been friends with Dolores for many years.

“We love the same music. They understood her, they knew how to listen. He watched some movies. They talked a lot about life, people, parents, beloved men and children. They traveled with gusto and celebrated joyful events. It was comfortable to be silent with her… She always gave. He never took. A great woman turned hairdressing into an art! He created an empire of beauty in our country!” remarked Pushkin.

According to the TV presenter, they became close people after Oksana made Kondrash the heroine of one of her first programs “Women’s Look”. “Talented. Hard worker. Bold. Touching. Charismatic. One in a million! Dolores Kondrash is gone. Forever. Alas,” added Oksana.

The death of the hairdresser was painfully perceived by the 41-year-old actor and TV presenter Vyačeslav Manucharov. “The legend of the art of hairdressing, who was also a personality of incredible proportions with a huge kind heart, is gone. I was lucky to befriend her,” said the showman.

The honored artist of Russia remembered the grandiose holiday that Dolores organized on her birthday. On this day, she liked to surround herself with star friends and walk in style. “An amazing woman who, no matter how she felt, always looked perfect: hair, make-up, manicure, the perfect outfit. Dolores cherished and enjoyed every minute of her life. I loved this world and people. I don’t know people like her anymore. Farewell, beloved Dolochka! – said Vyacheslav.

The TV presenter noted that Kondrashova lived a bright happy life. She has done hairstyles for the first ladies of the country and many famous artists. She will be remembered by many students, many of whom have reached unprecedented heights in this profession.

Dolores worked as a hairdresser-fashion designer for many years. In 1970, she won the Cup of Friendship in the USSR and also won a silver medal at the World Hairdressing Championships in Paris. Kondrashova remained the head coach of the Russian national hairdressing team until her death. Under her leadership, our masters became world champions in hairdressing for the first time in 1998 in Seoul.

Dolores was the president of the Union of Hairdressers and Cosmetologists of Russia, published a specialized magazine, organized professional competitions and festivals. Sergei Zverev, Oksana Andrianova, Araik Krist, Denis Kartashev and other famous hairdressers and make-up artists studied with her. Even the discerning French appreciated her contribution to the world of hairdressing – the Russian woman received the Order of the Legion of Honor with the rank of commander.

In 2020, Kondrash experienced a heavy loss – her husband, screenwriter and director Joseph Goldman, died at the age of 82.
