Irina Pegova was born in the small town of Vyksa in the Nizhny Novgorod region. She knew from childhood that she wanted to be an actress, so after school she entered the acting department of the Gorky Theater School. The fair-haired beauty with big eyes could not fail to notice, and very soon the director of the capital, Pyotr Fomenko, drew attention to her.
And in 1997, after the second year of leaving school, Irina moved to Moscow, where she entered GITIS. After graduation, she was immediately accepted into the ensemble of the Moscow theater “Pyotr Fomenko Workshop”.
Well, in the early 2000s, her film career began. The debut in the cinema was the film “Spartak and Kalashnikov”, where 23-year-old Irina played a military vet.
The talent of the young actress did not go unnoticed, and already in 2003, the film by Alexey Uchitel Procházek was released, in which Pegova played her first leading role. For this work, Irina was awarded the Golden Eagle Award for Best Actress.
Surprisingly, Irina has not changed much in recent years. We admire! And a little jealous.
