Chest crushed by snowblower: details of dramatic incident with “Avengers” star Jeremy Renner 01.05.2023, 10:05

The incident with the representative of the role of Hawkeye in the Marvel Universe films occurred on January 1. As it turns out, Renner was seriously injured while helping a relative who got stuck driving a car in the snow.

The actor brought his PistenBully snow plow, which weighs almost 6.5 tons, to the car. After clearing the snow, he went to talk to the relative he had saved. Suddenly, however, the snowplow began to roll down the slope: Jeremy decided to stop the car – he tried to jump into it, but it ended up under the tracks.

The audio recording of the call to emergency services was available to TMZ. In the background of the voices, the groans of the actor, who suffered serious chest injuries and fractures, are heard. Jeremy could hardly breathe on his own: he was taken to the hospital by helicopter. According to eyewitnesses, the actor was completely crushed by a snow plow.

Jeremy underwent two surgeries after which he got in touch with fans. He posted a picture taken in a hospital room.

“Thank you all for your kind words. I’m too tired to write now. But I send love to you all,” the actor spoke warmly to fans without revealing details about his condition.
