“I drank wine and wrote to Meladze with a trembling hand”: Anna Sedokova confessed

The artist only recently realized that the VIA Gra music group is a part of her. Anna wanted to ask the star producer for the right to play the song “Don’t Leave Me, Darling”, which was one of the band’s biggest hits.

Konstantin Meladze agreed – and Anna fulfilled her dream. However, now many are confused why the artist wanted to sing this particular composition and how she managed to reach an agreement with Vera Brezhneva’s husband.

Anna assured that the rights to the song remained with the author. They can’t belong to her because she didn’t write this hit. “How did I decide? I had Konstantin’s old mail. I drank a glass of wine and sent a few sentences with a shaking hand. He responded positively and sent me contacts of people to contact for rights. We are not friends. We are not enemies. We are nobody,” Sedokova explained.

The pop star noted that she worked on the new version of this song for almost a year and was very careful about the process itself. “I have different feelings now. It still hurts, really. You probably have to go on stage with her and sing with the audience. Then it will pass. I want to thank everyone who was a part of my life. Thank you for being you. Thanks for stopping by. Otherwise, I would never have become who I am now,” summed up Sedoková emotionally.
