“I started to cry loudly and then shout at everyone”: Anastasia Volochkova experienced stress at the final concert 13.9.2023, 13:45

The former prima of the Bolshoi Theater regularly gives concerts. Anastasia practices in the rehearsal room she has set up in her mansion. Volochková approaches the preparation of the spectacle responsibly. However, her final performance almost fell flat. For six hours, the 47-year-old ballerina was very nervous.

Finally, Anastasia gave vent to her emotions. “I had a real incident. The ballet cover was missing, which was lost along with the scenery. The decorations arrived half an hour before the show started, but there was still no cover. Of course, it was a lot of stress for my feet, for my pointy shoes. First I sat down on the ground and started crying very loudly. And then I started shouting at everyone,” said Volochková.

The problem of the dancer was solved in an unusual way. Banners came in handy instead of covering. The artists were delivered immediately before the start of the concert.

“Finally, the organizers helped and put advertising material on the stage. I’ll tell you a secret, I learned to dance on banner cloth – the material on which advertising banners are printed, including political elections. It was brought just 15 minutes before my speech started. This cover story became the final point of my performance,” explained Anastasia.

Volochková assured that the final concert is not a point in her career, but only in the season. The ballerina is busy preparing a new performance. The artist is grateful to the audience for their attention and compliments. Anastasia is especially grateful to the children.

“I’m preparing a new show. And at the last concert they gave me arms of flowers that I could barely fit in the car. But the most touching flowers for me were the small roses that the young participants of the concert gave me, one flower at a time. Every rose from every girl was more valuable to me than even the most magnificent bouquet,” added Volochková in an interview for MK.

Anastasia tries to motivate those around her to an active lifestyle. The ballerina has an assistant, Lola, who supports her. The housekeeper of the star is raising a daughter. Volochková talked to the girl and broke up with her.
