The 47-year-old star of “Doctor Lisa” has been living in Latvia for more than a year and a half. While emigrating, the actress faced a number of problems, including financial difficulties. The fees of the former star of the Sovremennik theater have dropped noticeably. This time Chulpan decided to try herself in a new role.

The group “Bi-2” went on tour to Latvia. At the venue Arena Riga, the band performed their main hits, and during the show, Chulpan appeared on stage with the musicians. She greeted the gathered spectators in Latvian.

Then Khamatova performed the role of Julia Chicherina in the song “My Rock and Roll” together with Shura Bi-2 (Egor Bortnik, listed as a foreign agent). Chulpan’s performance is actively discussed on the Internet. Many felt the artist missed the mark, and Shura barely hid his irritation as he stood next to her on stage. “It looks shameful, there is no sound”, “Everyone is ashamed except Chulpan”, “Why did they even try to replace Yulia? This is impossible,” the bloggers wrote.

The band is banned from entering Russia. In early May, Leva Bi-2 (Egor Bortnik) was recognized as a foreign agent. The Ministry of Justice noted that the artist spoke negatively about Russian politics.

Earlier, the musician claimed that he did not plan to return to Russia. The group’s planned concert in Luzhniki was cancelled.
