“The condition worsened”: the star of “Diamond Hand” Igor Yasulovich was connected to a ventilator after four operations 07/19/2023, 11:25

The comedy star was rushed to a Moscow clinic yesterday. Igor Nikolaevich was diagnosed with acute kidney damage. At the same time, Yasulović claimed that he was feeling well. “What I came to the hospital for has been done, now it needs to be done step by step… The hospital has a lot of equipment that makes it easier to talk,” he assured. Today, the details of the state of the People’s Artist of Russia became known.

“Jasulovic had two minor surgeries to remove fluid from his kidneys. Then, for a major operation, the doctors operated on the abdominal cavity and additionally removed fluid from the airways. Igor Nikolaevich’s condition worsened. Now he is in the intensive care unit, he was connected to a ventilator, ”the Mash Telegram channel reports.

Yasulovich was born on September 24, 1941 in the village of Reinsfeld in the Kuibyshev region. He made his film debut at the age of 20. He has acted in 320 films and TV series. He played a dog breeder in the movie “The Diamond Arm”, engineer Shchukin in the movie “12 Chairs”, uncle Sasha in the TV series “The Seventh Symphony”. Igor Nikolaevich teaches at GITIS at the Faculty of Acting Music Theater and also leads his acting workshop at VGIK.

The actor is married to Natalia Egorová. She is dedicated to theater scenography and is a professor at the Department of Art History of the Moscow Art Theater School. The couple’s only son Alexei became an actor and director. He pleased his parents with his granddaughters – Věra is now 28 years old and Glafire is 14 years old.
