The documents cite earlier claims by Pitt’s lawyers that Angie’s decision to sell her stake in the business threatens to destroy the project in which Pitt has invested so much.

“Brad’s words that he built this business are ridiculous. Pitt is an actor, not a winemaker. It deals with illusions, not earth and grapes. Over the years he’s reportedly built the business, he’s starred in and appeared in dozens of movies, not to mention countless promotional appearances, filming world premieres and attending Hollywood parties. Pitt is not guilty,” Jolie said harshly.

In addition, the actress claims in the complaint that her ex-husband “looted” the business, spending millions of dollars in profits on frivolous projects, including renovating the recording studio on the estate and restoring the huge swimming pool. “He was acting like a naughty child,” Angelina is quoted as saying by Page Six.

Angelina Jolie sold her share in the vineyard in 2021 to a Russian oligarch. Her lawyers say Pitt’s venture owes $350 million to the artist’s own holding company. Brad, in turn, accused Angie of selling her stake in the company in violation of the agreement they made despite him after their marriage ended in 2016.
