Nikolai was born in the marriage of Mikhail Efremov and Evgenia Dobrovolskaya on August 16, 1991. The boy grew up in a bohemian environment and decided to continue the work of his parents – he also wanted to become an actor. In addition, he started acting as a teenager and made his screen debut in 2004. After graduating from school, the guy entered GITIS for a course with Alexei Borodin and in 2013 received a diploma in acting.

But after graduation, Nikolai’s acting career did not move or move: at first he began to actively act, in a way and not in the most valuable projects, but then the breaks between films began to stretch more and more.

It was said that Efremov the younger is repeating the fate of his famous relatives – and, unfortunately, not in terms of popularity and cult roles. Nicholas could not resist alcohol.

But almost all the male representatives of the Efremov dynasty fought with the green snake.

The legendary Soviet actor Oleg Yefremov, Nikolai’s grandfather, also liked to drink. So Alexander Shirvindt recalled that at night he regularly received calls from the Sovremennik theater and went to calm down the raging Oleg Efremov, who, as a rule, was held in place by several people. After drinking, Efremov could become violent and even kick cars. He could not get rid of alcoholism, even when health problems began – he only tried to reduce the doses.

Nikolai’s father, Mikhail Efremov, also drank excessively and even got drunk behind the wheel. One such trip ended tragically. Efremov arranged the accident, as a result of which the driver-courier Sergey Zakharov died. The actor was eventually sentenced to 7.5 years in prison and is currently serving his sentence.

Against this background, Mikhail’s second son Nikita Efremov seems to be doing well. He has actively acted in popular movies and TV shows and has not been seen in major scandals. However, the family’s bad fate did not pass him by. Nikita admitted that he also had problems with alcohol.

“I drank too much alcohol for a long time. When I realized the existence of this problem and admitted it to you in particular, it became easier to fight the disease. Unfortunately, alcoholism in Russia is a big problem, and we need to talk openly about it, “said Nikita Efremov.
