In 2012, Titanic star Kate Winslet married millionaire Ned Rocknroll. And the story of their acquaintance is fire! In the true sense of the word.

When these two saw each other, everything was on fire – and not passion at all. The luxury villas on the private Necker Island, owned by billionaire Richard Branson, sparkled.

In 2011, Kate came to the resort at the invitation of Branson himself to relax with their children Mia and Joe, and Ned, the owner’s nephew, also spent time there. One night a hurricane hit the island and the buildings caught fire due to a lightning strike.

Kate helped Branson’s elderly mother down the stairs and then ran out of the house herself, grabbing the children, bra and waistcoat. On the way, she meets Ned, who seems to have been a little better prepared to survive the disaster – he had a headlamp.

The couple got married shortly after meeting, and a year after the celebration, their son Medvěd was born.

And apparently, the spark in Ned and Kate’s relationship still hasn’t died! Fortunately, this fire is no longer dangerous.
