“The man put his hands in her pants”: Katie Price’s mother told how the star was raped on the set of the show in Africa 06/28/2023, 12:50

The 71-year-old mother of the artist spoke for the first time about the incident that happened in South Africa in 2018. Katie traveled to the hottest continent to film the reality show Quest Red My Crazy Life. She was raped during a robbery and car theft. That day, during a break in the filming of the TV program, Price, along with some members of her team, went on a trip through the wild scenic places of Africa.

“After a safari that everyone enjoyed, the production company decided to try to cross the border into Swaziland at a dangerous time of day on a dangerous road. They were ambushed by four robbers. One of the men put his hands down Kate’s pants and sexually assaulted her. He then touched her from all sides and hit her hard,” Amy said.

Katie couldn’t resist as the gun was pointed at her the entire time. Price Sr. she spoke of the despair she felt as she watched her daughter suffer. “This is a terrible test. It would be easy to spot the beginning of Katie’s downward spiral with the car theft fiasco. A few months after the traumatic incident, one of Kathy’s friends called me to say that she had been caught trying to commit suicide,” the woman admitted in her new book The Last Word.

The Playboy star’s mental problems were compounded by her illness – a year earlier, Price had been diagnosed with incurable idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. The support of her mother played a key role for the model at this time. “Kathy relied on me as her advocate, confidant and first responder. My daughter must have been scared to deal with it without me,” added Amy.

Price previously admitted that she experienced a mental breakdown and attempted suicide in 2018, after which she checked herself into a rehab clinic. “I got that experience while filming for ITV in South Africa. We didn’t have security, if we had bodyguards, they would have been able to deal with the guys who attacked us, held me at gunpoint and raped me,” the Daily Mail quoted the star as saying.

Katie Price was thrown from her car by attackers during her trip from Johannesburg to Swaziland, accompanied by two film crew. Laptops, iPads, passports, cash and jewelery were stolen from the car. The attackers were never arrested. “The police said it was a miracle they didn’t kill us,” said the owner of Britain’s biggest breast.
