“They talk without me”: Emin Agalarov talked about Alena Gavrilova’s relationship with his first wife 28.06.2023, 13:05

The four-time winner of the Golden Gramophone Award had two weddings. Emin has been married for nine years to Leyla Aliyev, the daughter of Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev. The 43-year-old artist met his second wife, model Alena Gavrilova, a year after the divorce.

Agalarov regularly communicates with children from different marriages and maintains friendly relations with Leila. The performer of the hit “Krb” assured that Alena is not jealous of his former lover. In addition, the owner of the title “Miss Mordovia-2004” became close to the mother of her daughter Athena’s half-brothers.

“Leyla and Alena have a very good relationship. Even without me, they sometimes communicate, write letters, talk to each other. I was lucky in this regard, because it is also their personal choice, like a broom… In general, I think: the calmer the situation between people, the better for everyone. When someone is in conflict, it’s always a problem,” Emin explained.

Emin got married for the first time in 2006. In this marriage, the artist had twins Ali and Mikail, who are already 14 years old. He is also raising his adopted daughter, Amin. Emin managed to maintain a warm relationship with his former father-in-law and mother-in-law. Agalarov dedicated one of the songs to his divorce from Leila.

The artist’s second wedding took place in 2018. In this union, Emin became a father again. Alena gave birth to a daughter, Athena, who is now four years old. The model has a difficult relationship with the musician’s parents. In 2020, the couple announced a divorce, and a year later Emin returned to Alena. The musician blames himself for the breakup and is glad that he managed to fix everything.

The father of many has revealed the details of his departure from the family business. At the end of May, Emin left the post of First Vice President of Crocus Group after making a decision together with his father, Araz Agalarov, who owns the holding.

“Firstly, my own projects have grown – Sea Breeze has become so big that I don’t want to be distracted by everything else. Any manager and administrator can do the work I did for me. We communicate with my father. We have a normal relationship. We had a conversation where I explained to him that I had worked for 20 years. I said, “Leave it.” And he let go. I was subservient to my father for 22 years, but I cannot be subservient all my life. Because I am a person who also wants to lead something, do something myself, “Agalarov added in the YouTube program “Light around the world” with Svetlana Bondarchuk.
