“Love conquers death”: the star of the film “Kept Women” Sabina Akhmedova with her boyfriend appeared at the premiere of the mystical series 06/28/2023, 09:10

The star-studded premiere of the series Where Wormwood Blooms took place in the summer courtyard of the Strelka bar (KION Summer Cinema). Akhmedova came to the event with her beloved man – top manager of VTB Group Nikita Dushkin. The star of the series “Kept Women” has been living with him for two years.

When the actress and businessman appeared on the red carpet, they looked into each other’s eyes, after which Sabina smiled. They posed for photographers holding hands. Then Dushkin modestly stepped aside, and the 41-year-old artist shared her emotions about participating in this mystical drama.

“The magic of this series is in the excellent cast, in the interesting story and in such a noir bait picture,” said Akhmedova. — I believe in mysticism. I want to believe in the signs of fate. For me, this series is a story that the most important people in life are our closest people. And because of our love for them, we are capable of anything – we are capable of becoming heroes. And that love conquers death.

The film “Where Wormwood Blooms” is based on the bestseller of the same name by Olga Ptitseva. “The actors of the series just got into my head and pulled out pictures – the characters that I imagined when I was working on the text,” said the writer. “So it’s, you know, a bit of a schizophrenic experience. Because they were in my head, they became a book and now they are a picture.’

At the center of the plot of the series is the fate of the tenth pupil Ulyana (Victoria Agalakova). Her life changes dramatically when she discovers a terrible gift in herself – she can “see” other people’s deaths. A schoolgirl’s younger brother dies and her mother goes to the hospital. To save her, Ulyana makes a deal with a witch named Ruta (Sabina Akhmedova). He asks her to bring the belongings of the three dead people. However, it soon becomes clear that the witch demanded the girl’s father (Artem Tkachenko) to kill her. The most important role in the drama is played by the field of wormwood that blooms near Ruth’s house.

The main representative of the mystical drama, 26-year-old actress Victoria Agalakova, previously explained that her character is a young naive girl, she is very empathetic. The star of the TV series “Patient Zero” expressed his opinion on why his new project will interest the audience. Where the Wormwood Blooms will be available to watch on KION starting July 1st.
