“They Shame Me”: “Sex and the City” star Kristin Davis complained that she was persecuted for beauty injections 24.06.2023, 17:50

The acting role of Charlotte York in the cult series “Sex and the City” returned to her character in the second season of the continuation of the project – “And just like that …”. Kristin admitted that she is tired of her face being the center of attention. “I’m relentlessly mocked for using facial fillers and ashamed of my appearance in general. I shed a lot of tears because of the trolls,” Davis complained.

The actress does not hide the fact that she regularly visits a beautician and does botox injections. At the same time, critical statements are sent to her, regardless of how she looks. “I’m giving injections and it’s bad, I’m not giving injections and that’s also bad,” Christine complained.

The TV star was most shocked by the fact that the wave of negativity and hatred towards her came mainly from women. She noted that ladies work a lot on themselves to look younger than their age. However, when they see harsh criticism of the stars, they are ashamed of it, they do not talk about it, because they are afraid that they will have a similar reaction.

“I think one of the reasons people don’t open up more is because other women basically shame you. It’s so sad. We have enough problems as it is. We don’t need to be ashamed of each other. It’s such a waste of time and it really hurts,” Sarah’s friend Jessica Parker said.

According to Kristin Davis, everyone is free to make choices about their face or body. “Don’t criticize others for their choices or their mistakes. That won’t help you. It won’t help them. It won’t help anyone. I don’t have to look like I used to. When I look in the mirror, I try to remind myself not to think about flaws because that’s how we’re programmed to see them. You can’t stop aging. The only way to not age is to not be alive, which I obviously don’t want to be,” Page Six quotes the “Sex and the City” star as saying.

Sarah Jessica Parker was also outraged by the criticism of the cast who dared to age in public. She spoke angrily about misogynistic rants about her natural gray roots. Actress Carrie Bradshaw found such cruel comments insulting and superficial.
