In 1993, Mohammed married the Greek Zoya Grigorakos. He did not seem to have any plans to make her a junior wife (as of 1979 the Sheikh was already married to his cousin Hinda, who is the eldest wife). According to rumors, an Eastern man entered miziar with a European woman – a temporary marriage permitted by Sunni Islam.

In 1994, their daughter Christina was born, and soon Zoya and the child returned to live in Europe. For the first years, Christina lived with her mother in London, and then they moved to Greece. The girl grew up as a Christian and was raised in European traditions, but financially, Muhammad apparently still supported his daughter.

Changes in the life of the sheikh’s “Greek” daughter came when she was 16 years old. After that, Christina moved to Dubai, converted to Islam and got a new name – Mahra, and her father gave her a royal title. So today you should refer to her as: Her Highness Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Interestingly, in this Mahra became the exact opposite of her half-sisters, Princesses Latifah and Shamsa, who, on the contrary, tried to flee from Dubai to Europe. Their dramatic stories were intensively discussed in the world press.

Mahra actively leads social networks, where she shares pictures from her life. The girl likes to pose in national clothes, but apparently she is not allowed to follow the dress code too strictly. For example, Mahra does not hide her hair.

A few years ago, the Sheikh’s daughter made it into the top 10 most beautiful girls in the East. And in 2023, at the age of 29, she married a representative of the ruling family of Dubai, Sheikh Man al Maktoum, who is her distant relative.
