“They made a tragedy”: graduates of “Star Factory-7” reproached Rita Dakotova after her complaints about Konstantin Meladze 23.06.2023, 9:25

Konstantin Meladze was the mentor of “Star Factory-7”. Project participant Rita Dakota said that the producer was very strict with her – he cursed, humiliated and made it clear to everyone that she was nothing by herself. At that time, the artist was only 17 years old, and it was painful for her to listen to harsh criticism.

According to the performer of the “Tsunami” hit, Meladze and other members of his team were dissatisfied with her appearance and the way she dressed. The mentor also did not like her stage name. Konstantin, talking about Rita, said that he did not like empty people, advised her to be simpler and love herself less.

Other members of the same “Star Factory” believe that the singer exaggerated and took everything too close to heart. “After the concert, a briefing was organized for everyone. I was once told something that made me cry. Rita turned it into something of a tragedy. Well, maybe I won’t judge, it affected her feelings, but as far as I’m concerned, there will be no artist without a sharp word and a kick. Nothing without it. I also sobbed and felt very sick, I wanted to leave. The next day I did not get out of bed, Kostya came and said: “Get up!” – said Tatyana Bogacheva, soloist of the Yin-Yang group.

However, the “producers” will not deny that Meladze is a really tough person and not always as restrained as it seems. “Kostya is not really as accommodating as he tries to demonstrate. He is a fair, honest man, but tough. But he wouldn’t have achieved anything otherwise. The soloists of “VIA Gra” lie half down. By the way, Kostya’s text messages are another person, as if it were his alter ego, he can sway with emotions, such are his tricks, ”said another soloist of the band, Artem Ivanov.

In 2012, the producer was involved in a terrible accident near Kiev. Konstantin hit a 30-year-old girl in his SUV. Meladze called an ambulance and tried to help the victim, but she died before the doctors arrived. The composer confessed. The investigation proved that the accident was caused by negligence. Konstantin assumed the maintenance of the deceased’s two children.

This situation greatly affected Meladze. Yin-Yang’s soloists said he stopped promoting them and generally retired for a long time. “There was a terrible accident and Kostya just dropped out of life for a year and a half.” He was not in contact with anyone, “Ivanov admitted on the YouTube show Factory with Yana Churikova.
