Lucky (Olga Kozina), group “Virus”
The group Virus achieved success in 1999, when their song “Don’t look for me” made it onto the charts. And then, thanks to the pop techno trio, the question “Where are your pens?” became the most popular at any disco. In addition to the soloist, who performed under the pseudonym Olga Lucky, the members were DJ Doctor (aka Yuri Stupnik) and Chip (in the world of Andrey Gudas). At the peak of their popularity, the producers of the group resorted to a well-known scheme – they recruited a second line-up to earn more. As a result, the original composition rebelled and went on a solo voyage. You will be surprised, but the Virus group still exists today and performs and records songs in the same “golden” line-up.

Nadezhda danced since childhood, performed in the ballet show “Todes”, and at the age of 16 she got into “Star Factory-4”, where she sang the song “Who cares”, which immediately became a hit. After the final of the musical reality show, Igoshina fell under the wing of Viktor Drobysh, who invented a sonorous pseudonym for her and released a solo album. However, this singing career stopped and Igoshina started acting in movies and TV shows. Her most notable projects include the series “Peace! Friendship! Rubber!” and the film “How Nadia went for vodka.” Igoshina is married, the couple has three children – sons and a daughter.
Rostov singer Oksana Pochepa was incredibly lucky. When she was 17 years old, she was noticed by Sergey Zhukov, the lead singer of the then mega-popular group “Hands Up!”. In 2000, Oksana moved to Moscow and became a shark. The first song “Acid DJ” and the debut album of the same name made the girl a star. Radio plays, tours, fans – Shark had all the ingredients for success. However, in 2004, after performing in the United States, the singer decided to stay there.
After two years, he returned to Russia, Pochepa worked on the radio, ran for parliament, and then returned to variety activities. Today, Oksana performs under her own name, participates in various shows and, of course, regularly appears at retro concerts.
Monokini (Tatiana Zaikina)
In fact, this production project of Maxim Fadeev was remembered by the public for only one really successful hit – the song “Reach for the Sun”, which was released in 2001. The mysterious brunette conquered the charts, but things did not go beyond the debut album. The artist’s personal life affected her work. First, she married her brother Fadeev, but family life did not work out. Then the contract ended and Monokini finally disappeared from the radar.
It turned out that the singer remarried, gave birth to a daughter, and then went to work as an editor on television. Monokini devoted eight years to the popular program “Let’s get married!”. It seemed that the new profession suits her completely, but a few years ago Tatyana returned to the scene. She could not use the old pseudonym, so she shortened it to Mona, but the singer has the right to perform previous hits, which pleases fans at her concerts.
