Alina is a truly unique athlete. She is the only female figure skater in Russian history and the second in world history after Kim Yong Ah to win all world figure skating titles. The path to records began in Almetěvsk, where the athlete moved as a child.
Alina was born in Izhevsk, spent her early childhood in Leninogorsk, and then her family settled in Almetyevsk. There, the future Olympic champion in four years of figure skating began. Zagitova went to practice at the Yubileiny sports palace, where her father played for the local hockey club Neftyanik.
The debut at the Russian championship took place in 2016, where Zagitova took ninth place – quite a decent result to begin with. In addition, the figure skater soon began to methodically improve her performance, so it was clear to everyone: a new star was shining in the sports sky.
Zagitová thoroughly prepared for the main start for all athletes – the Olympics. She first showed the free program “Don Quixote” in 2017, and it was clear that these skates would be included in the gold fund of figure skating. At the Olympics in South Korea, Zagitova cleanly performed all 11 of the most difficult jumps included in the program, and as a result of the competition she won a gold medal.
Sports brands immediately drew attention to the talented figure skater, who amazed everyone with her endurance, so Zagitova quickly won modeling contracts – she starred in fashion campaigns as an ambassador.
After Zagitova left competitive sports, she began to try herself as a TV presenter, trying not only dresses, but also strict suits.
Alina has transformed before our eyes from a clumsy teenager into a charming young girl. Athletes do not hide their enviable figure and often choose minidresses with slits or bare shoulders for various events.
Now Zagitova is not shy about publishing candid photos from the beach. And there is nothing reprehensible in this – Alina is already 21 years old. On vacation, the skater chooses a separate swimsuit, often prefers the proven classic in black.
