Do you want to buy another Lamborghini Huracan? Then you’re out of luck!

The Lamborghini Huracán will not be phased out of production until next year. So there’s still plenty of time to order another copy, one would think. But no, all production locations are assigned.

So you could say that the Lamborghini Huracán is no longer for sale. The fact that the demand for the Italian sports car is still so high after nine years is something special in itself. Because the Huracán debuted in 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show.

Incidentally, it could well be that Lamborghini has planned a limited farewell edition, but must reckon with the fact that it will be sold out for a long time.

The successor to the Huracán will be a plug-in hybrid

Will the Lamborghini Huracan get a successor? Naturally. It will be unveiled in late 2024 and will feature a plug-in hybrid powertrain, likely coupled to a twin-turbo V8. No more screaming, howling V10.

The current model has 640 hp and a top speed of 325 km/h

Because this power source has always been the selling point. In the Tecnica – the current variant of the Huracán – the 5.2-liter ten-cylinder engine delivers 640 hp and 565 Nm of torque.

The model has a top speed of 325 km/h and accelerates to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. The Huracán STO, also with 640 hp, is faster with a 0-100 time of exactly 3.0 seconds.

Twinturbo V8 further development of the Urus engine

The V8 of the successor to the Lamborghini Huracán is probably a further development of the Urus engine. Incidentally, there is also a plug-in hybrid version of the very popular sports SUV. The second generation Urus will be fully electric.
