Will this Hyundai Ioniq 5 N be one of the most beautiful electric cars?
Hyundai shares images of a camouflaged Hyundai Ioniq 5 N. The model is the sporty variant of the EV that we already know. Will this be one of the most beautiful electric cars?
We know the Standard Ioniq 5 for its impressive performance and special design. This model could also be tempted to slide in sport mode, as the Autovisie endurance test showed.
One of the most beautiful electric cars?
The upcoming Hyundai Ioniq 5 N has to be even sportier. For example, Hyundai shows in the video that the electric car is only too happy to make a mistake in wintry conditions.
Logically, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N will have the same powertrain as the other Korean automaker’s EV6 GT. The Kia has a powertrain consisting of two electric motors that produce 585 hp and 740 Nm of torque. From a standing start, the model sprints to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.5 seconds. The acceleration only stops at 260 kilometers per hour.
The GT not only has a lot of power. Ventilated brake discs and a better chassis are also part of the GT package. This can supposedly also be expected from the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N.
Hyundai drives the model, which is supposed to be one of the most beautiful electric cars, over an ice field at -30 degrees Celsius. Although the i20 N WRC car’s sound steals the show, the Ioniq 5 N has no trouble driving straight through the corner.
Hyundai has given the Ioniq 5 N a drift mode
Hyundai has therefore given the Ioniq 5 N a drift mode. If this is activated, you can drift in a controlled manner, because the torque distribution between the front and rear wheels, the amount of torque, the firmness of the suspension and damping, the power steering and the function of the e-LSD (electronic limited slip differential) are and are different coordinated. How exciting the model is remains to be seen. In any case, the EV6 GT has already proven itself in the video below.
