This is Lamborghini’s first plug-in hybrid V12: the Revuelto!
There it is, the brand new Lamborghini Revuelto. This morning we could already see the model in leaked pictures. Now the successor to the Aventador can be seen in all its glory.
Not only the complete design can now be seen, we are also aware of further specifications for the drive train. Important information, after all it is Lamborghini’s first plug-in hybrid.
Lamborghini has not yet officially unveiled the car. However, almost all information is already known.
The Revuelto is Lamborghini’s first plug-in hybrid
Behind the front seats, under the hood, is a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine assisted by three electric motors. The Lamborghini’s powertrain delivers 1,001 hp. The forces are distributed to all four wheels. The V12 is good for 813 hp at 9,250 rpm, with the rest of the power coming from the electric motors.
The powertrain was previously released by Lamborghini. At that time it was not yet known that this presentation would appear in Revuelto.
The three electric motors are connected to a battery with a capacity of 3.8 kWh. So the electric motors are not really intended for electric driving – this is possible up to 10 kilometers, but more to give a decent boost and save some CO2 emissions. The battery can be fully charged in 6 minutes. Thanks in part to the automatic transmission with double clutch and eight gears, the new super sports car sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds. The top speed is over 350 kilometers per hour.
The Lamborghini Revuelto has 13 driving modes. In EV mode you have 180 hp at the front wheels and you can drive 10 kilometers on electricity.
The design of the new Lamborghini Revuelto is recognizable as a Lamborghini. With headlights similar to the Sian and rear fenders similar to the Diablo, it’s unmistakably a car from the Italian manufacturer.
Digital screens of 12.3 and 8.4 inches are placed in the interior, the largest of which are located behind the steering wheel. The front passenger also gets a 9.1-inch screen on which he can see speed and engine speed, for example.
It is still unclear what the model will cost and when the first copies will be delivered.
