New photos of Tesla Cybertruck give a glimpse of future production model
The Tesla Cybertruck, it’s been almost 4 years since the car was announced. After many spy photos, Tesla finally shows a pickup truck that resembles the production model at Investor Day.
Actually, the Cybertruck would go into production at the end of 2021. However, this deadline was repeatedly exceeded. According to the latest statements from Elon Musk, the pickup should go into mass production at the end of 2023.
Tesla Cybertruck is a long time coming
The launch of the Tesla Cybertruck has been delayed due to repeated technical and design changes to the electric vehicle. In addition, the chip shortage has also contributed to the slower adoption of this model. But now he’s really getting there.
Latest version Tesla Cybertruck
At the first Investor Day, everyone was able to see and photograph the Tesla up close. For the first time we see a version with a glass roof and tarpaulin. Whether that’s the version we’ll actually see on the road remains to be seen.
The adjustments to the Cybertruck are not only made from an aesthetic or economic point of view. For example, this model has windscreen wipers and mirrors, which are necessary for the model to be approved for use on public roads. The back also differs from the first prototype that Elon Musk presented.

The interior of the Tesla Cybertruck on display is very understated compared to the exterior. In the center of the dash you’ll find a large screen and the steering wheel just closes – no yoke steering wheel. In addition, the seat angle of the back seat can be adjusted so that you can create more storage space. There are no exciting features in the interior.

In the video below you can see the same Tesla Cybertruck driving. Here you can clearly see that the sloping roof line is equipped with a transparent window (panoramic roof). The tarpaulin is also closed here.
