Find the differences to the “new” Hyundai i10

“The Hyundai i10 has been completely renewed,” the South Korean brand proudly states in its press release. But if you put the photos of the new i10 next to the pre-facelift model, it looks more like a game of differences.

After pointing out the changed lights behind the grille and the new 15-inch rims, most of these are played out. If you take a closer look, you can see that the grid pattern has also changed minimally. At the rear, the changes are even more sparse. Inside the rear light units you have to be content with a minimal redesign.

What has changed on the Hyundai i10?

Slightly more changes can be found in the interior. There, in addition to the still existing USB-A port, you can see, among other things, a new 4.2-inch screen that replaces the old-fashioned clocks and several USB-C ports. In addition, 8-inch touchscreen, wireless charger, power folding door mirrors, reversing camera, Apple Carplay and Android Auto are still found in the well-appointed A-segment.

The N-Line version has also received a small refresh. This sportier-looking model does not come standard with 15-inch, but with 16-inch rims. In addition, the Hyundai i10 N-Line has been decorated with a sportier bumper, red accents and vertical lights in the grille, as we already knew from the pre-facelift model.

Less competition

The i10 is an extremely popular model, especially in the Netherlands. About 4,000 Hyundai i10s were sold in the Netherlands last year. At the same time, more and more brands are disappearing from the A segment. A few weeks ago, Volkswagen announced that it was removing the plug from the Up! pull.

If you’re looking for a small city car, chances are you’ll also come across the new i10 in your search. Production of the new i10 will start shortly in Izmit, Turkey and the new model will be on show in the showroom from this summer.
