Will this be the new Tesla Model 3 hatchback?
We’ve been waiting forever for the Tesla Cybertruck and the lightning-fast Roadster. Impressive cars according to Elon Musk’s promises, but perhaps a more practical model is needed. A simple hatchback is still missing from Tesla’s offer. Does this “Tesla Model Q” offer a solution?
Of course, Tesla already has a hatchback, the Model X. If you want that, you’re more than a ton behind the car. That’s not nothing. In this respect, this five-door Model 3 would be an enrichment for the model range of the American car manufacturer. After all, we are fans of the large trunk, especially in Europe, so Loebas can also come with us.
Tesla Model Q
Unfortunately, these are not leaked images of the American automaker, but rather renders by popular designer Sugar Design. We’ve written about his Mazda MX-5 Shooting Brake in the past. This time, Sugar Design turns a Model 3 into “Model Q,” as he calls his creation.
A sleek design that many Dutch people would queue for. Of course, the larger rims and lower ride height also help to look so tough. The designer seems to have been inspired by the Mazda 3 for the attached D-pillar. It’s better to steal something well than think it through badly, so let’s not blame him.
Tesla’s model range is currently still somewhat limited. If you’re planning on buying a Tesla, your only choices are the S, 3, X, and Y models (yes, Elon Musk is a prankster). Along with the now almost antique Roadster, these are the only models seen on the road for the time being.

Tesla’s pickup and supercar are still on hold, so don’t expect a Model 3 hatchback from the automaker just yet. If you really want this spacious Model 3 in the driveway, you have to get the welder and grinder out of the garage yourself. Another option is to knock on the door of a coachbuilder. But yes, you can undoubtedly buy a brand new Model X for this money.
