Auto mechanic sums up customer’s Toyota Supra during test drive

A Colorado auto mechanic has some explaining to do. During a test drive in the Toyota Supra, he lost control of the steering wheel and fell heavily. Miraculously, the Chunk Pilot is doing fine. Unfortunately, the Supra is a thing of the past.

Any JDM enthusiast will have searched for a used A80 Supra at some point. After seeing the astronomical asking prices, most tails tucked away clicking away from the page. For a manual Mk4 Supra with the legendary 2JZ turbo engine you don’t have to come under 40,000 euros these days. This copy will be worth even more as it only had 27,000 kilometers on the clock. It is all the more painful for the American, who tragically lost his Supra.

Toyota Supra with 900 hp

It is not known who this American is. We know he went to his glorious Japanese Tailor-made motorsport in Englewood, USA. This workshop specializes in tuning cars, as was the case with this Supra. The car came in for some maintenance and some upgrades. Not that the latter was necessary, because the Supra was already good for around 900 hp with its two turbos.

That was a few too many for the hapless mechanic who decided to go for a test ride. A small dot of gas was enough to lose traction. After sliding into a fence at high speed, the Toyota rolls over violently several times before coming to a stop against a train. A terrifying experience for the driver.

It almost sounds like a scene The Fast and the Furious, the film series to which the Toyota Supra owes much of its fame. Although no professional cinema cameras were nearby, the entire scene was captured using a cellphone.
