Tesla Roadster is nothing compared to Nissan Max-Out Convertible

Nissan shows a brand new concept model. The convertible is called Max-Out Concept and is a lot more interesting than the Tesla Roadster.

At least in terms of design. The Tesla Roadster is interesting for Elon Musk’s claims alone. A zero-to-100 sprint of 1.1 seconds is absurdly fast.

Nissan Max is way cooler than Tesla Roadster

Although other manufacturers are working on an electric roadster besides Tesla, there are still very few electric convertibles. A special concept in which not only the body shape is striking.

In 2021, Nissan already made a digital concept of the Max-Out. This version was directly translated into a true concept model. The design of the electric vehicle is special. The large front air scoop leaves no room for headlights and extends directly into the windshield. The special shape of the nose is additionally emphasized by the green accents.

The large opening at the front is also found at the back. Here the shape is set a little higher and the opening is closed with a large light unit that creates depth through lighting. This optical illusion can also be found in the closed LED edges.

No seats

The interior also seems straight out of a video game. The seats are actually just a backrest and a headrest, you sit at the bottom of the car.

The steering wheel of Nissan’s electric roadster is a kind of Tesla yoke, but in reverse. Behind the steering wheel is an infotainment screen that occupies almost the entire width of the dashboard. Not much is known about the powertrain yet. The Japanese only state that there is an electric motor on both the front and rear axles.

Whether Nissan’s special concept car will ever really compete with the Tesla Roadster remains to be seen. The production of such a model seems unlikely, but cannot be ruled out.
