This special Audi Activesphere has a charging box

After the Urbansphere, Grandsphere and Skysphere, here is the Activesphere. Audi’s new concept model is made for people with an active lifestyle and has a cargo bed!

The Activesphere is a 4.98 meter long crossover coupe. The car has large 22-inch wheels that show that you can drive well even on dirt roads.

As the name suggests, the study model is aimed at active people. That’s why the Audi Activesphere has an open cargo box in which you can transport bicycles or water sports equipment. Unlike the Tesla Cybertruck, the EV cannot transport a quad.

Despite the off-road tires, the electric car can travel 600 kilometers on one battery charge. Thanks to an 800-volt electrical system, you can quickly recharge the battery. The maximum charging speed is 270 kW. With it you can charge more than 300 kilometers of energy in 10 minutes!

The battery pack has a capacity of approx. 100 kWh. The battery ensures that the two electric motors on the front and rear axles are supplied with electricity. The total output is 325 kW (443 hp) and 720 Nm of torque.

As with the BMW iVision Dee, Audi also relies on it mixed reality. Unlike the concept car from Bavaria, you have to wear glasses with the Activesphere. In this way, everyone can choose their own virtual world in the car and the driver can be helped, for example, with finding a route – provided the car is not driven autonomously.

The off-roader will not come onto the market

If you can’t find the route, you can always use the roadside to get to the correct route. The EV has quattro all-wheel drive and features variable dampers that let you adjust the ground clearance. Up to 248 millimeters of ground clearance are available for off-road use.
