Nissan does what many BMW fans dream of

When Nissan first showed the new Generation Z, the hearts of many enthusiasts beat faster. No wonder, because the coupé is a wonderful collector’s car. Now the sporty Nissan comes with a modification that BMW fans dream of.

As with some BMW models, the Z was widely criticized for its large grille. And not without reason, because the big mouth is quite sensitive to taste.

Last year’s Tokyo Motor Show featured a show car that had its radiator grille downsized. Now the Japanese nostalgia car reports that the Nissan Z will really go into production.

The Nissan Z is not available in the Netherlands. If you want to import one, you can opt for one from Japan. This is reportedly the only country where the car comes with a narrower, wider grille. In the land of the rising sun, the model bears the historical name Fairlady Z.

Just a grille reduction

Although the design is slightly different, the successor to the Nissan 370Z retains the same performance. Under the hood is a 3.0 liter V6 with two turbochargers. The peak power is 405 hp and the maximum torque is 475 Nm.

Power only goes to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual or a nine-speed automatic.

In Japan, the Nissan Z has a price of 5,241,500 Japanese yen, which is about 37,068 euros.

Nissan Z not in the Netherlands

Although the V6 version will never make it to the Netherlands via the Nissan importer, there is still a glimmer of hope for the Dutchman. However, the import company would like to see a variant with a battery in it. When it comes to that, we can also count on a Z in the Netherlands.
