With a Ford Mustang to the grave? It is indeed possible
“Where does the road lead to?” Mieke Telkamp asks herself. So to the charging station. Because from now on it is possible to be taken to your final resting place in a fully electric Ford Mustang Mach-E. Talk about a moment of silence…
The hearse-shaped Ford Mustang Mach-E is built by English specialist Coleman Milne. A few years ago, the company introduced a Tesla Model S for funerals.
Ford Mustang Mach-E no longer reaches range
Coleman Milne’s Mustang Mach-E is based on the 75 kWh battery version. It delivers 269 hp and 430 Nm of torque, but no longer achieves the specified range of 440 kilometers.
With no less than 1.5 meters stretched length
As you can see from the photos, the Ford’s wheelbase has been significantly lengthened. A standard Mach-E is 4.7 meters long. The hearse measures no less than 6.2 liters in length. And the resulting additional weight limits the range to 322 kilometers.
The Mustang Mach-E’s wheelbase had to be stretched to accommodate a coffin and three luggage racks in the back seat.
Five variants of the Ford Mustang Mach-E
Ford ships five variants of the Mach-E in the Netherlands: the 75kWh 269hp RWD or 4WD, the 98kWh 294hp RWD, the 98kWh 351hp 4-wheel drive and the 487hp GT.
