Dacia Jogger Hybrid has a range of 900 kilometers

With the Jogger, Dacia offers a unique car for the money. Where you only buy an A or B segment for around 20,000 euros from many car brands, you have a spacious MPV with the Romanian brand. The jogger also moves with the times and gets a hybrid drive.

The name of this hybrid version is Dacia Jogger 140 Hybrid. The 140 represents the number of horsepower the powertrain is producing. The electrified jogger is now the most powerful engine that can be ordered.

Dacia Jogger Hybrid has a range of 900 kilometers

The powertrain consists of a 1.6-liter four-cylinder with 90 hp, a 50 hp electric motor and a starter-generator. The four-cylinder sends its power to a four-speed electric automatic transmission. The electric motor is coupled to a two-speed gearbox. The entire drive train is free of clutches.

The electric motor draws its energy from a 1.2 kWh battery pack. This allows you to drive fully electrically. How far is still unclear. Dacia states that 80 percent of city trips can be driven fully electrically, although this is of course completely dependent on use. The total range is 900 kilometers based on the WLTP measurement method.

The hybrid jogger also gets a slightly different interior. In addition to the automatic lever, the instrument panel is also different. The 7-inch screen is needed to provide the driver with battery and range information.

Same space as LPG version

It is striking that the Dacia Jogger has just as much interior space as the version with the LPG tank, despite the battery pack. Because the battery is simply located where the gas installation is. The hybrid is also available with five or seven seats.

What remains to be discussed is the most important thing about the Dacia Jogger Hybrid: the price. Unfortunately, the Dutch price is not yet known. Guess: about 25 grand?
