Here you will find the first battery changing station in the Netherlands

The first battery exchange station in the Netherlands was opened. Not in the Randstad or in the center of the country, but close to Tilburg.

When we drove the Nio ET7 two months ago, the company said it would soon be opening its first “power swap station” centrally in the country. A location in the middle of the country is not the first.

If you own a Nio, you can drive to Hotel Van der Valk in Tilburg on the A58. The first battery exchange station in the Netherlands is active here so that you can change your battery.

The practical thing about such a battery changing station is not only that you have a full battery within a few minutes, you can also opt for a larger or smaller battery pack. For example, if you go on vacation with your ET7 and want more range, you can swap your 75 kWh battery pack for one with 25 or 75 kWh more capacity. Aside from being useful for the user, such a changing station can also help to store leftover energy. When there is a lot of energy being generated by windmills or solar panels and there is electricity left over, Nio can charge his battery at the battery changing station. You can then make your kilometers with this electricity. The electricity can also be fed back into the grid. In China, Nio has already started an experiment with this power supply.
