Is your hair already thinning? Then it might not be a good idea to get into the Bugatti Mistral without a hat. Because nondeju! The hyper-exclusive convertible monster does not go 300 km/h, not 400 km/h, but 420 km/h.

Do we need to explain what the Bugatti Mistral is? It is an open version of the Chiron, so with the same 8.0-liter W16 engine with four turbos and 1600 hp. It’s certainly not easy to make a convertible super-fast, admits Bugatti. You have to have good command of both thermodynamics and aerodynamics.

Think of the shape of the Bugatti Mistral

“We had to think hard about the shape of the Mistral,” says Emilio Scervo, Technical Director of Bugatti Rimac.

“Air has to be ducted through and around the car to achieve a delicate balance between cooling and aerodynamics. And of course a Bugatti must also be elegant and timeless.”

The maximum speed of the Mistral was not yet known

The specifications of the Bugatti Mistral have been known for a long time, but not yet what its top speed is. Well, you can’t just get in and pedal until you’re going 420 km/h.

The Mistral can only reach this peak if it is set to top speed mode with a special key.

Starting price of 5 million euros, excluding taxes

Bugatti builds only 99 copies of the Mistral. The starting price of the homeless hypercar is 5 million euros, excluding taxes.

In the Netherlands, therefore, there is quite a bit of VAT and BPM if you write it on the license plate. You can no longer subscribe to Mistral. All cars to be built are already sold.
