That’s what the Citroën e-C4 X costs in the Netherlands

Citroën announces the price of the all-electric e-C4 x. The model is by no means cheap.

The model is a four-door variant of the C4 with an all-electric powertrain. The EV is on the same platform as the Peugeot e-208.

Not yet the improvements that the Peugeot e-208 has

The Citroën e-C4 X also shares the same powertrain as the Peugeot. That means a 136-hp electric motor and a 50-kWh battery pack that, according to the manufacturer, can be used for a range of up to 360 kilometers. Practical tests by Autovisie show that this is significantly less for the Peugeot e-208 and that you have to calculate more than 270 kilometers when the weather is nice. In wintry conditions, even 200 kilometers can be a challenge.

Strikingly, the Citroën e-C4 X is presented without the update that the Peugeot e-208 will soon receive. This update includes some powertrain improvements. For example, the Peugeot e-208 is – on paper – 400 kilometers away (an extra 4 kWh) and power increases to 156 hp.

With its 136 hp, the Citroën e-C4 X sprints from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 9.5 seconds. From a maximum speed of 150 kilometers per hour, the limiter intervenes. The trunk of the electric vehicle holds 510 liters. With the rear seats folded down, you have 1360 liters of cargo space at your disposal.

But how much does this Citroën E-C4 X cost? Prices start at 40,840 euros, for this money you get the “Feel” version with 18-inch alloy wheels, leather steering wheel and safety features such as the active lane departure warning system and pedestrian detection.

The “Feel Pack” is one level higher and costs 41,600 euros. Then you have a reversing camera and better seats at your disposal. Keyless Entry & Start, a head-up display and steering wheel heating are also available for an additional 3,600 euros.
