The Dutch are annoyed by green and yellow driving behavior partners

Dutch people are a bit annoyed in traffic. Not only do other road users get our blood under our nails, the atmosphere in the car is not always relaxed either. And that’s because of frustrations with one’s own partner, who of course can’t drive a meter.

According to a Time2play survey of 700 Dutch people, the vast majority of drivers are sometimes disturbed by others in traffic. Women are more annoyed than men: 90 percent sometimes blush with anger in the car, compared to 82 percent of men.

No direction and tailgating

Then what are the frustrations? No direction is number one (64 percent bother), followed by tailgating (60 percent) and cutting off (53 percent). Throwing trash out of windows (49 percent) and using the phone while driving (48 percent) complete the top five.

The driving behavior of the partner is a big source of irritation

When it comes to harassment in the car, there is hardly any difference between men and women: 63 percent are bothered by their partner’s driving behavior. Incidentally, it is better not to comment on this, because 61 percent of those surveyed absolutely cannot tolerate it. Almost a third of couples sometimes argue over each other.
