Left-wing extremist group claims Tesla attack
The left-wing extremist Vulkan group has claimed responsibility for an arson attack on the huge Tesla factory just outside Berlin. This is what the mirror reports.
It is currently unclear who represents the group, writes the magazine. Police are still investigating the authenticity of the statement that they “sabotaged Tesla.” The group of volcanoes was previously in the headlines when Tesla began building the factory. The power supply was also sabotaged at that time.
Explosion and fire at Tesla
The company was closed early Tuesday morning after an explosion and fire at a large utility pole. The fire broke out in a place where demonstrations against the expansion of the Gigafactory Berlin Brandenburg have been taking place for almost a week.
There was also an activist tent near the exploded power pole. The RobinWood campaign group is angry because the hugely successful factory that makes zero-emission cars wants to cut down part of the forest to expand. The drinking water in the region would also be contaminated. Tesla wants to add 170 hectares.
Every hour that the factory is idle costs millions, Tesla said. The American automobile manufacturer provides 12,500 jobs in the Berlin region.

Tesla Gigafactory has been without power for hours and production is at a standstill. The reason is said to be an arson attack on an electricity pylon.
This is probably an attack by “climate activists”

The Gigafactory is where the Tesla Model Y is built, which was the best-selling car in Europe last year. The company also produces batteries there. After the expansion, Tesla could build a million cars a year in Berlin.
Tesla’s biggest competitor BYD from China recently announced that it wants to build a large factory in Hungary.
The Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg is Tesla’s fifth large factory worldwide.
